Why do you want to be an assistant manager?

How do you motivate others?

  • Most people believe money is a great motivator but that is not always the case. I believe workers need to be praised for their hard work. Giving praise or even a simple pat on the back is a great motivator. Depending on the individual I would give praise in front of other team members or individually.
  • This type of question can easily be followed up with, give an example of how you motivated others in your last job. This is an environmental or how would you behave interview question and many employers will ask this so you need to be prepared!!!

Where do you see yourself in five years?

You want to answer this question in a way that you sound like a good fit for Burger King and they can retain you as an employee. Try something like:

  • My goals are to stay and learn more about the restaurant industry. In five years I would like to be a restaurant general manager or open my own franchise.
