  • State you read about FedEx Earthsmart (talks about how dedicated they are to helping the environment through conservation or alternative energy) and that you would be proud to work for a company that is so dedicated to helping the environment.

3. What is your greatest strength?

  • The best way to respond to this question is to describe the skills and experience that directly correlate with the job you are applying for. With this in mind, review the job description and reassure the interviewer that you have the experience and skills to do the job.

4. What is your greatest weakness?

  • It would help if you did not deny you have a weakness or state strengths as a weakness. For example, do not say “I am a perfectionist” or “I work too hard and neglect my friends and family”. State a fault required for the role but not a dealbreaker if you don’t have it.
  • When you state your weakness, make sure you say what you are doing to overcome that weakness. For example, I have a fear of public speaking and enrolled in a public speaking class to overcome my fear.

  • Arrive 10 to 15 minutes early and bring an extra resume.
  • Don’t speak too fast as you will sound nervous or too slow as you will sound boring.
  • Be sure to like FedEx on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
  • If possible, find out as much as you can about the hiring manager and find common interests you have with him or her.  For example, if you both like a particular baseball team you can talk about that common team.
  • Be prepared to talk about Salary if the range is not posted in the job description.  Simply search on the internet pay scale for FedEx jobs.
