  • Forever 21 is a fast fashion retailer with headquarters in Los Angels California.
  • The company sells accessories, beauty products, home goods, and clothing for women, men, and children.
  • Forever 21 offers fashionable and trendy offerings at low pricing.
  • Forever 21 started in Los Angeles in 1984.  It was actually named Fashion 21.
  • The first mall store was opened in Panorama City California in 1989.
  • The first international store was opened in Canada in 2001.
  • Men’s line was added in 2006.
  • Cosmetics and Forever 21+ were added in 2009.

2. Why do you want to work at Forever 21?

Possible Answers are

  • Say you love working with people and fashion and feel a career at Forever 21 will allow you to do both.
  • State you would like a job that keeps you active.
  • Mention you feel you have strong communication skills which will allow you to work well with customers and other team members.

3. Why should I hire you?

  • Most of you working at Forever 21 will be working with customers. So they will be looking for someone who has great people skills. They will also want someone who is punctual. More than likely you will need training so they will want a quick someone who is a quick learner.

So asked why should I hire you state:

  • Say you have great people skills and will interact well with customers as well as other team members.
  • Mention you are a quick learner and will not have issues learning the point of sale system or any of the product lines.
  • State you are punctual and understand the need to arrive at work on time.

4. How would you deal with an upset customer?

  • I would find out why the customer is upset. If it was the product, I would see if I can exchange it (tip!!! review the return policy at Forever 21 and be sure to cite it when answering this question).
  • If it was an issue I cannot handle I would escalate it to my manager.

5. Tell us about a time you went above and beyond for a customer?

  • Customers love when you go above and beyond for them which will, in turn, generate more business. Try and think of a time you went above and beyond for a customer.
  • For example, when I was a server at a restaurant we did not have a particular dessert in the restaurant. Luckily the dessert next door had it and I was able to get it for them.

6. Why did you leave your last job?

  • The commute was too long.

  • The more flexible you are with your hours, the better your chance of getting hired, so be flexible!
  • Let the interviewer know if you can work on weekends and holidays.
