4) What is your greatest strength?
- I am a quick learner (this is a great answer because they will have to spend less time training you)
- I have excellent people skills (this is a great answer because you will be working with customers all the time at Jack & Jones)
5) What is your greatest weakness?
You want to answer this question in a way your greatness weakness does not cost you the job at Jack and Jones. Say something like
- I am a workaholic and I neglect my friends and family or
- I don’t take enough personal time for myself when I get caught up in my work.
6) How would you deal with an upset customer?
First I would find out what is wrong with the customer.
- If it was the product I would offer to replace it (mention you would check with your manager first)
- If they were upset because they could not find a product I would find it for them and not just point them in a general direction.
- Say it is important to keep the customer happy as an unhappy customer will never return.
7) If a customer asked where a particular item was in the store what would you tell them
- I would walk them over to the item and find it. (this is a great answer because there is nothing worse than having someone point where a particular item is in the store)
8) Where do you see yourself in five years?
- If going to college or university state what you would like to be doing after you finish.
- Perhaps you would like a career in retail management.
9) Why should I hire you?
- I work hard, I am a quick learner, and I am punctual.
