  • In 1985, Travelodge became Britain’s first value hotel brand when it launched in the UK
  • The first hotel opened in Barton England.
  • Today it is the largest independent hotel operator in the UK.
  • There are more than 500 hotels and 37,000 guest bedrooms, right across the UK as well as in Ireland and Spain.

7. How would you define great customer service?

  • Going out of your way to the customer such as getting them event tickets even simple things such as giving them an extra pillow, more bathroom amenities, to local dining suggestions.

8. How would you deal with an upset customer?

  • I would stop what I am doing and give him my full attention.
  • Then I would see if I can fix his/her complaint.
  • Finally, I would note the complaint and show it to my manager to make sure this issue never happens again.

Tips

  • Make good eye contact during the interview.
  • Have good posture as it will prevent you from mumbling.
  • Don’t speak too fast as you will sound nervous or too slow as you will sound boring.
