  • H-E-B stands for Howard E. Butt who was the founder.
  • H-E-B acquired Favor Delivery as a wholly-owned subsidiary in February 2018.

7. How would you define excellent customer service?

  • The staff is friendly and always willing to help the customers find what he or she needs.

For example, when I was a server at a restaurant, we didn’t have a specific dessert, but the restaurant next door did, so I got it for the customer.
  • Here’s another example: Previously, I worked at a fast-food chain. There was a senior citizen at the restaurant, and he had finished his meal. The rain started, and he began to worry because he didn’t have an umbrella. Luckily, I had an umbrella, so I walked him to his car, sheltering him from the rain.
